- Newman named to Honor Roll -
New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the 10th Women's Basketball report for the 2011-12 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Junior guard Baytania Newman (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll for women's basketball. Newman led Farmingdale State to a 56-45 win over previously unbeaten league opponent Mount Saint Mary with 10 points, five rebounds and six steals. She also scored 18 points, had seven boards and seven assists in a loss to Old Westbury.
