Senior center Mercedes Miller (New York, N.Y./Manhattan Center) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week for women's basketball on Monday, December 3rd.
In a 3-0 week for Farmingdale State College, Miller averaged 18.0
points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting 60 percent (18-for-30) from
the floor. Miller recorded two double-doubles. She had 29 points
and 12 rebounds in a double-overtime win over NJCU, and 16 points
with 10 rebounds in an 81-66 win over Mount Saint Vincent. She also
had nine points and nine rebounds in just 15 minutes against
Yeshiva.
