INDIANAPOLIS | The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) released the second edition of its 2022 Division III Softball Regional Rankings on Wednesday afternoon, and Farmingdale State College sits atop the Region III table (found here).
Head coach Liz Pennino's Rams, winners in 15 of their last 16 contests, enter the final weekend of the regular season with a 22-3 overall record, as well as a 13-1 conference slate that sits atop the Skyline Conference's standings. This is believed to be the first time Farmingdale State's program has held the top spot in the regional rankings.
Farmingdale State rounds out regular-season Skyline play this weekend at home, with a noon doubleheader Saturday against Purchase College, followed by a 1 p.m., Senior Day twinbill Sunday against Mount Saint Mary College.
