Newark, N.J. - Farmingdale State's Joshua Green (Shelter Island, N.Y.) and junior Erin Lettieri (West Islip, N.Y.) led the men's and women's cross country teams this weekend at the Highlander Technology Challenge in Newark, N.J. The men's team finished in 8th place of 31 teams, while the women finished 18th of 29 teams.
Green posted an individual finish of 19th with his time of 26:22, he was the top Division III runner at the meet out of a total 286 runners.
Lettieri was also the top Division III runner on the women's side (306 runners), finishing in 10th place with a time of 18:50.
The Rams next meet will be Saturday, October 13th at the 19th Annual St. Joseph's Invitational at Sunken Meadow State Park in Kings Park, N.Y.
