Purchase, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's and men's cross country teams opened the 2018 season at the Purchase College Invitational and both teams finished in 6th place.
In the men's 8K race, freshman Joshua Green (Shelter Island, N.Y.) placed 6th individually (27:59.1) to lead the Rams amongst the 148 runners.
With 120 entries in the women's 6K, junior Erin Lettieri (West Islip, N.Y.) placed 14th individually in a time of 25:42.7, while sophomore Alexis Papol (Brookhaven, N.Y.) finished in 24th individually at 26:46.9.
FSC next will run at the Bard Raptors Invite on Saturday, September 22nd in Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y.
