LIU Post Invitational - Brookville, N.Y.

Brookville, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's cross country teams competed at the LIU Post Invitational this past weekend in Brookville, N.Y. The men finished in 10th place out of 12 teams and the women were 12th of 13.
Sophomore Jordan Kohlman (Wantagh, N.Y.) finished in a team-best 50th place out of 111 with a time of 28:44.93, while sophomore Dan Barrett (Wantagh, N.Y.) placed 78th in 31:07.69.
The women were led by senior Melissa Bonilla (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) who took 38th place in a time of 21:07.76. Freshman Kristen Starke (Bellmore, N.Y.) finished 62nd out of 115 competitors in 22:39.96.
The men's and women's cross country teams next will compete at the Bard College Invitational on Saturday, September 21st.
