Skyline Releases Cross Country Report #2
- Sean Tiernan named Runner of the Week -
Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the
second Cross Country report for the 2010 season this afternoon,
including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and
Conference statistics.
Junior Sean Tiernan (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) was named the Skyline Conference Runner of the Week for men's cross country. Tiernan ran an 8K personal best time of 26:57 at the Hofstra Invitational. Tiernan, who placed 10th on the field of 42 runners at the Bethpage course, was the top Division III runner to cross the finish line. The Rams placed fourth as a team with four runners breaking the 30-minute mark.
