Rams Finish 3rd at C.W. Post Invitational
- Men finish 3rd of 8, Women finish 5th of 6 -
Brookville, N.Y. - The men's and women's cross country team opened the season at the C.W. Post Invitational. Sophomore Sean Tiernan (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) and Sean Daly (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) placed 5th (29:17.81) and 9th (29:28.25), respectively, to lead the men's team to a 3rd place finish. Farmingdale finished ahead of Division II programs St. Thomas Aquinas, Queens and Dowling.
Freshman Melissa Bonilla (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Farmingdale) placed 21st (23:31.48) to lead the women's team to a 5th place finish, surpassing Division II programs Queens, C.W. Post and Dowling.
