Bronx, NY - The men's cross-country team finished in 3rd place in the Skyline Conference and 5th place in the Halloween Classic on Sunday, October 29th, at the Van Cortlandt Park 5-mile course in Bronx, NY.

In the Skyline results, sophomore Mike Landi (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) led the team in 9th place individually with a time of 29:47.18. His time was an outstanding performance, running on an injured ankle and still setting a personal best. The men ran an excellent race to finish the season, clocking their best time seperation this year, with just 2:09 seperating the Top-5 runners.

There were three other personal bests set by the men's team, including freshman Ray Thomas (Yonkers, NY/Saunders), freshman Jermaine Carter (Queens, NY/Mt. St. Michael Academy)and freshman Eric Harris (West Islip, NY/West Islip) at 35:34, good for 41st place in the Skyline.
