Senior captain Jason Hernandez (Bay Shore, NY/St. Anthonys) ended his cross-country career by setting a new personal best (36th place, 32:23.26) for the 5-mile Van Cortlandt Park course on Sunday, October 30th in the Bronx, NY. Jason set personal bests for each course run this season. Congratulations to Jason on an outstanding season and a great cross-country career.
Five of the six other runners also set new Van Cortlandt Park personal bests, leading the mens team to a sixth place finish. Freshman Mike Landi (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) finished in 22nd place in a personal best time of 30:47, moving him into 24th place on the All-Time Farmingdale Top 25 performances at Van Cortlandt Park.
