La Crosse, WI - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse will be hosting the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 24-26. Farmingdale State's Jyaire Ewa (Rochdale, N.Y.) qualified for the NCAA's in the hammer throw for the second consecutive season.
Ewa claimed a spot in the field of 20 competitors with his toss of 56.05m (183' 11") at the NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 5th. He will be competing in the first flight on Saturday, May 26th at 11:00 a.m. (Central Time). Last season, Ewa was named All-American as he placed seventh out of 18 at the 2017 NCAA Championships.
