
Ewing, N.J. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's outdoor track team competed at the TCNJ Invitational on Saturday, April 8th. The Rams had four events qualify for the ECAC Outdoor Championships this May, including the 100m, 200m, 4x100m Relay and the Hammer.
Nicolas Fratto led the team at the meet, posting three ECAC qualifiers. He won the 100m with an ECAC qualifying time of 10.90, took 2nd place in the 200m with an ECAC qualifying 22.32 and ran on the 3rd place 4x100m Relay team with Anthony Miller Jr. (Yonkers, N.Y.), Philip Sellitto (Levittown, N.Y.) and senior Jovanni Parkinson (Wyandanch, N.Y.). Their relay time was #9 All-Time on the FSC record list.
Junior Jyaire Ewa (Stamford, Conn.) won the Hammer with a throw of 52.75m (173'1"), which leads the NJAC. He also took 5th place in the Shot Put (12.69m, 41' 7.75").
Farmingdale State will now travel to Stockton College for the Osprey Open in Galloway, N.J. on Friday-Saturday, April 14-15.
