
- NJAC MEN'S ALL-CONFERENCE LIST -- NJAC WOMEN'S ALL-CONFERENCE LIST -
Pitman, N.J. - The NJAC men's and women's outdoor track & field all-conference teams were announced on May 12-13. All NJAC special awards were determined by a vote of the league's nine head coaches. The league's all-conference honors were based on performances at the 2016 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships which were conducted at Stockton University on May 7-8.
Farmingdale State sophomore Jyaire Ewa (North Massapequa, N.Y.) was named First Team All-NJAC in the Hammer Throw. At the NJAC Championships, he broke the school and NJAC record in the Hammer to take 1st place in the event with a throw of 176' 8" (53.85m). Ewa broke the school record held by Ed Brown from 2012 at 176" 1", while the previous NJAC record was 52.70m. His mark also moves him up to #26 in the Nation in this event.
The FSC men's 4x100m Relay team of senior James D'onofrio (West Babylon, N.Y.), junior Bryan Giordano (Brooklyn, N.Y.), freshman Philip Sellitto (Levittown, N.Y.) and senior Jovanni Parkinson (Wyandanch, N.Y.) received Honorable Mention recognition after finishing in 3rd place at the NJAC Championships in a time of 42.43. The teams time is the 6th best mark all-time at FSC and moved them into 18th place on the ECAC Championships qualifying list.
