Rams Finish 2nd and 5th at CTC Championships

Allentown, Pa. - The men's and women's outdoor track teams scored a record number of points this weekend to place 2nd and 5th, respectively, in the Collegiate Track Conference Championships at DeSales University in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The men scored 142 points and the women 76.
Sophomore Corine Magee (Mastic, N.Y.) won the 100m (12.77 trials, 12.93 final), the 200m (26.66) and anchored the winning 4x100m Relay. Corine also won the CTC indoor 55m and 200m Dashes, sweeping the Conference sprints this year. Corine was an Indoor All-American in the 55m Dash.
Senior Qasim Ellis (Farmingdale, N.Y.) won the Long Jump (6.62m, 21' 7") and Triple Jump (14.05, 46'). Qasim was also an Indoor All-American in the Triple Jump.
Senior Greg Denis (Tallahassee, Fla.) won the 400m Intermediate Hurdles with a time of 55.33. This improves his ECAC qualifying mark.

The team will run next on Thursday, April 21st at the Richard Stockton Quad Meet at Stockton College in Pomona, N.J.
