Philadelphia, Penn. - The Farmingdale State men's outdoor track team competed in three events at the Penn relays, in Philadelphia, Penn.

4x200M Relay-Jason Chin Chitty, Naveed Mohammed, Steve Brown, Jermaine Carter (1:30.20)

The Relay team placed 42nd out of the 55 teams competing, beating several top Division I (Army, Navy, Fordham, Kentucky State) and Division III (Ithica, Ursinus, Lehman) teams.

4x400M Relay -
Samar Hall, Greg Denis, John Bates, Jermaine Carter (3:22.54)

Jermaine Carter ran a 49.2 anchor leg to secure 3rd place medals in the CTC section of the event. This is the best time run in the last two years and improved the teams ECAC qualifying mark.

Long Jump - Qasim Ellis - 6.63m (21' 9") Season Best

This is one inch off of the ECAC qualifying standard. Ellis has previously qualified in the triple jump.
