Okolie Finishes 10th at the NCAA's in the Discus
Oshkosh, Wisc. - Senior Chris Okolie (Bronx, N.Y./Hills East) finished in 10th place at todays Division III Outdoor Track National Championships held at the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh, Wisc.
Okolie was the 16th seed before the Tournament, making his finish a huge accomplishment to end his collegiate career with the Rams. Okolie threw 48.29m (158'5"), his second best throw ever.
This year's Discus Champion, Dan Hytonen (of UW-Whitewater) set the NCAA Division III record with a throw of 59.87m (196'5").
