Men Finish 2nd at CTC Championships; Gina Pierre Breaks
School Record in Hammer Throw

Allentown, Pa. - The Farmingdale State men's
outdoor track team placed 2nd on April 19-20th at the Collegiate
Track Conference Championships held at DeSales University in
Allentown, Pa, while the women finished 16th at the meet. The 2nd
place finish for the men and the 104 points scored is the highest
in school history. The Conference consists of 31 Division I, II and
III schools. The meet was won by Division I Sacred Heart, who
scored 126 points.
Gina Pierre broke the school record in the Hammer Throw with a toss
of 37.40m (122' 8"). This broke the previous school record by six
inches. Gina now holds the Indoor 20lb Weight Throw and the Outdoor
Hammer Throw records.
