Kings Point, N.Y. - Freshman Chris Herbst (Baiting Hollow, N.Y./Riverhead) won the 110-meter High Hurdles in a season and personal best 15.35 at the Men's and Women's Outdoor Track Coach "O" Invitational in Kings Point, N.Y. on Saturday, April 14th. Chris also Triple Jumped 13.39-meters (43' 11 1/2") to place 6th. These marks improve his ECAC qualifying times in both events. In his third event, he placed 7th in the 400-meter Intermediate Hurdles in a season best 57.89. Chris moves to #8 on the All-Time 110-meter hurdles list.

Juniors Reggie Routier (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport) and Reuben Hairston (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport) placed 3rd and 5th, respectively, in the Triple Jump with season best jumps of 13.92-meters (45' 9 1/2") and 13.43-meters (44' 3/4"). Both improved on their previous ECAC qualifying marks. Reggie moves to #3 on the All-Time list.

Other notable performances:

4x400-meter Relay: Kensley Norian, Jermaine Carter, Jason Chin Chitty, Akil Williams, 3rd place, 3:21.13, season best and ECAC qualifying improvement.

High Jump: Akil Williams, 2nd place, 1.97-meter (6'6")

Shot Put: Chris Okolie, 5th place, 13.22-meters (43' 4 1/2"), season best, #10 on All-Time list.

Discus: Alex Rubino, 5th place, 39.91-meters (130' 11"), season best, personal best, #9 on All-Time list.

4x100-meter Relay: Jason Chin Chitty, Azell Green, Reuben Hairston, Kensley Norian, 5th place, 43.54.
