Penn Relays

@ Franklin Field

Philadelphia, PA

The Outdoor Track team traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this weekend for the Penn Relays on April 29-30th. Freshman Andre Brown (Jamaica/Waterford) placed second in the College Men’s Eastern Long Jump Championship with a jump of 7.21m (23’7”). This betters his ECAC and National Championships (NCAA) qualifying performance.

The 4x200m Relay ran 1:28.96 to place third on the All-Time Farmingdale list. Shane Smith (23.4), Nyakeh Charley (22.2) and Reuben Hairston (22.3) were followed by Ian Morgan’s blazing 21.1 anchor leg.

The Rams will compete at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Friday May 6th in the Kings Point Invitational.
