Freshman Alberto Soberanes (Elmhurst, NY/Newtown) won the 10,000m run in a personal best 34:11.81. Alberto led the entire race and despite the windy conditions posted this highly competitive time. Later in the meet, he placed seventh in the 5000m run in another personal best of 16:35.1. The team placed in seven other events (4 second place, 1 fourth place, 1 fifth place and 1 sixth place) and had eight personal bests.

Andre Brown (Jamaica/Waterford) took second place in the Long Jump at 7.11m (23’ 4”), bettering his National and ECAC Qualifying performance. He now moves to number three on Farmingdale’s All-Time Long Jump list.

Shane Smith (Brooklyn, NY/Lafayette) placed second in the Pole Vault with a vault of 4.42m (14’ 6”), tying his school record and ECAC Qualifying performance.

Ian Lovergie (Castle Point, NY/Beacon) took second place in the High Jump (1.93m; 6’ 4”), which betters his ECAC Qualifying performance and ties for sixth place on the All-Time list.

The 4x100m Relay team took second place. The team of Kenny Adams (Spring Valley, NY/Ramapo), Nyakeh Charley (Mt. Vernon, NY/Stepinac), Andre Brown and Ian Morgan (Amityville, NY/Amityville) bettered their previous ECAC Qualifying performance.

Reggie Routier (Amityville, NY/Freeport) placed sixth in the Triple Jump in 13.03m (42’ 9”), which is an ECAC Qualifier. He also took fourth place in the 110m High Hurdles in a personal best 16.24 seconds.

The 4x400m Relay team of Shane Smith, Ian Morgan, Reggie Routier and Jason Hernandez (Bay Shore, NY/St. Anthony's) finished in fifth with a time of 3:31.11.
