FSC Concludes Indoor Track Season at Atlantic Region Championships

Rochester, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's indoor track & field teams traveled to Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y. for the All-Atlantic Region Championships on Friday and Saturday.

In the high jump, freshman Khadia Jenkins (Farmingdale, N.Y.) recorded a ninth place finish with a leap of 1.55m (5' 1") and also took 23rd in the shot put with a toss of 10.97m (36').

Sophomore Morris Johnson (Binghamton, N.Y.) placed 21st in the 60m with a time of 7.19.

In the mile run, sophomore Alycia Haynes (Adams Center, N.Y.) finished in 22nd with a time of 5:27.04 for the women, while junior Matthew Calogianes (Deer Park, N.Y.) placed 20th in 4:39.12 for the men. 

The men's 4x200m relay of Rosean Bernard (Jamaica, N.Y.), Johnson, Michel Seminara (Hauppauge, N.Y.) and Nathaniel Blades (Freeport, N.Y.) recorded a 15th place finish in 1:36.82.

The women 4x200m relay team of Wynter Wright (Yonkers, N.Y.), Amira Kemp (Copiague, N.Y.), Josephine Castano (Bay Shore, N.Y.) and Alexxis McNeil (Valley Stream, N.Y.) came in 14th with a time of 2:02.31.
