Percival Named All-Atlantic Region

Junior Justin Percival All-Atlantic Region in 60m Dash

New Orleans, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Region honorees for the 2018-19 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season. To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top-3 relay team.

Farmingdale State junior Justin Percival (Melville, N.Y.) was named All-Atlantic Region in the 60m. Percival, who is headed to the NCAA Division III National Championships this weekend, tallied a season-best and school record time of 6.85 in the 60m at the Armory Last Chance Qualifier on February 22nd.

Percival has won the 60m dash twice and has finished in the top five at every meet this season. He won the event at the Bill Ward Invitational (6.92) on December 9th as well as at the NYC Division III Invitational (6.96) on February 1st. Most recently, Percival posted a third place finish at the Atlantic Regionals with a time of 6.94.

Percival has been named the NJAC Track Athlete of the Week six times this season.
