FSC Records a Pair of Top-3 Finishes at Atlantic Regionals

Ithaca, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's indoor track team recorded two top-3 finishes at the Atlantic Regionals held at Ithaca College on Friday and Saturday.

FSC junior Justin Percival (Melville, N.Y.) placed third in the 60m with a time of 6.94. In the preliminaries, his time of 6.91 earned him a second place finish out of 24 competitors. Percival is currently tied for eighth in Division III this season in the 60m after he posted a time of 6.85 at the Armory Last Chance Meet on February 22nd.

The Farmingdale State 4x200m team of Percival, Philip Sellitto (Levittown, N.Y.), Joseph Motis (Massapequa, N.Y.) and Denzel Green Wright (Central Islip, N.Y.) earned a second place finish out of 17 schools in 1:30.33. Their time moves them into fourth place on the FSC All-Time List for the 4x200m. After his runner-up finish in the relay, Wright took eighth place in 22.85 in the 200m.

FSC next will travel to the NCAA Division III Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass. on Friday, March 8th and Saturday, March 9th.
