Fratto and Pensa Earn All-Conference Indoor Track Honors

Pitman, N.J. - The New Jersey Athletic Conference released the 2016-17 Men's Indoor Track and Field All-Conference teams this morning.

Farmingdale State junior Nicolas Fratto (Farmingdale, N.Y.) was named First Team All-Conference in the 200m, while sophomore Christopher Pensa (Levittown, N.Y.) earned Second Team honors in the weight throw.

Sophomore Philip Sellitto (Levittown, N.Y.) (400m) and the 4x200m relay team of Sellitto, Jason Meyler (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Idowu Bamisile (Bordentown, N.Y.) and Fratto were named All-NJAC Honorable Mention.

Fratto won the 200m at the NJAC Championships in 22.59, finishing 0.14 seconds ahead of runner-up Cameron Dobbins from Rutgers-Camden.

At the NJAC's, Pensa recorded a second place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 15.29m (50' 2").

Sellitto took third in the 400m with a time of 51.50, while the 4x200m relay team also finished third in 1:31.45.
