Parkinson and Ewa Improve ECAC Marks at Last Chance Meet

- Parkinson breaks school record in 200 meters -


Staten Island, N.Y. - Senior Jovanni Parkinson (Wyandanch, N.Y.) and sophomore Jyaire Ewa (North Massapequa, N.Y.) both improved their ECAC qualifying marks at Saturday's Fastrack Last Chance Meet at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Complex in Staten Island.

Parkinson took 5th place in the 200 meters in a school record 21.93 seconds. He also took 10th place in 49.33, improving his FSC ranking to #4 all-time.

Ewa finished 3rd in the Weight Throw with a personal best of 17.94 meters (58' 10 1/4"), improving his ECAC qualifying mark and moving up to #10 on the NCAA qualifying list.
