Parkinson and Ewa Earn All-Conference Honors

Pitman, N.J. - The New Jersey Athletic Conference released the 2014-15 Men's Indoor Track & Field All-Conference teams this morning. Farmingdale State junior Jovanni Parkinson (Wyandanch, N.Y.) and freshman Jyaire Ewa (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) were each named All-NJAC for their respective events.

Parkinson was named First Team All-Conference in the 200m and earned Second Team honors in the 400m. At the NJAC Championships, Parkinson won the 200m with a time of 22.23, while placing second in the 400m in 49.44.

Ewa was named First Team All-NJAC in the 35lb. weight throw after earning a victory in the event with a personal best tying toss of 15.70m (51' 6 1/4"). '
