Parkinson and Cadle-Hinton Shine at CTC's

Collegiate Track Conference Championships @ Wesleyan University

Middletown, Conn. - The Farmingdale State men's indoor track team was led by junior Jovanni Parkinson (Wyandanch, N.Y.) on Sunday at the CTC Championships held at Wesleyan University. Parkinson won the 200M (22.86), placed 2nd in the 400m (51.02) and anchored the 2nd place 4X200m (22.70) and 4X400m (50.2) Relays to lead the men's team to a 5th place team finish overall. The men scored 74 points and scored in 12 of the 13 events entered.

For the women's team, Maia Cadle-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) broke her own school record in the 20lb. Weight Throw with a toss of 14.84m (48' 8 3/4"). Her previous record was 14.10m (46' 3 3/4"). She placed 2nd in the event and stands in 2nd overall in the NJAC this season.

Junior Erin Donovan (Farmingdale, N.Y.), in her first Pentathlon competition, scored 2370 points to place 2nd in the event. This puts her at #4 on the FSC All-Time list. The women's team scored 26 points to place 11th in the meet.
