Parkinson and Ewa Lead Rams at Metro Team Challenge

Manhattan, N.Y. - Junior Jovanni Parkinson (Wyandanch, N.Y.) continued his outstanding season for the men's indoor track team on Friday afternoon at the Metro Team Challenge in New York City. The men's team scored seven points to tie for 16th place in the meet. Farmingdale State was the top Division III team at the meet.

Parkinson competed in two events, winning his section of the 200m to place 3rd overall with a time of 22.40. This time also places him in 3rd on the All-Time Farmingdale list. He then anchored the 4X400m Relay team with a superb 48.58 split.

Freshman Jyaire Ewa (North Massapequa, N.Y.) placed 8th overall in the 35-Lb. Weight Throw with a personal best toss of 15.14m (49' 8 1/4"). This improves his #7 performance on the All-Time Farmingdale list.
