Cadle-Hinton Named NJAC Player of the Week

Pitman, N.J. - The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its Week 4 NJAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week selections on Monday, January 19th.

Sophomore Maia Cadle-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) was named the NJAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. Cadle-Hinton broke the school record in the weight throw during St. Joseph's Winter Festival. She placed seventh in the weight throw event in a field of 24 competitors with a distance of 14.10. She broke the record in the event that was previously set in 2009. Cadle-Hinton's performance in the weight throw currently ranks as the best NJAC throw in the event this season.

Cadle-Hinton and the Rams return to action on Friday, January 23rd when they compete at the Metro Team Challenge which will be held at the New Balance Track and Field Center in New York, N.Y.
