Middletown, Conn. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's indoor track team traveled to Middletown, Connecticut on Saturday, January 26. The Rams had 16 top five finishes at the meet.
The men won five events, including the 4x200m Relay, Pole Vault, Long Jump, Shot Put and Weight Throw. The 4x2 relay team of Daquan Grant, Robert Sweeney, Danny Hart and Joseph Papa finished in 1:36.18. In the vault, Joseph Verderber tied his career-high as he cleared 14' 11" and won the event by 11.75". Alix Lamarre won the Long Jump with a distance of 6.38m (20' 11.25", while Mike Jang won both the Shot Put (46' 8.25") and Weight Throw (49' 5.5").'

400m: Robert Sweeney - 52.74, 2nd place; Danny Hart - 54.47, 5th place
800m: William Frederic - 2:05.24, 5th place
60m Hurdles: Jonathan Gortman - 8.90, 2nd place
4x400m Relay: 3:35.80, 3rd place
High Jump: Daquan Grant - 1.77m (5' 9.75"), 5th place
Triple Jump: Daquan Grant - 12.91m (42' 4.25"), 2nd place; Darren Mathurin - 12.48m (40' 11.5"), 3rd place
1000m: Carina Bonilla - 3:41.25, 1st place
The Rams will compete next in the Armory Collegiate Invitational on February 1-2 at the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York, N.Y.
