- Edward Brown IV named Field Athlete of the Week -
Pitman, N.J. - The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its Week 5 NJAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week selections on Monday, January 23rd.
Brown earns NJAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after traveling to Jamaica, N.Y. to compete at the Long Island Indoor Championships hosted by St. John's University. He placed first in a field of 11 competitors in the weight throw with a winning ECAC qualifying toss of 17.50 meters. The performance by Brown in the weight throw currently ranks as the 14th best men's NCAA Division III mark in the event recorded during the 2011-12 indoor season.
