Nick David Qualifies for NCAA Championship

Middletown, Conn. - Junior Nick David (Mount Sinai, N.Y./Mount Sinai) won the pole vault and tied the school record with a jump of 4.70m (15’5”), at the 16 team Wesleyan Invitational. This is an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.

Sophomore Steve Brown (Wheatley Heights, N.Y./Hills East) placed third in the 55m high hurdles in an ECAC qualifying 7.98. Brown is now tied for sixth on the Farmingdale State College All-Time Hurdles List.

The men's team is ranked 16th nationally and has a record three NCAA qualifiers to go along with 11 individuals and one relay qualified for the ECAC Championship.

The Rams travel to the New Balance Track and Field Center for the New Balance Collegiate Invitational on Friday, February 5th.
