Four Rams Compete at Great Dane Invitational

Manhattan, N.Y. - Four of Farmingdale's men's indoor track student-athletes competed at the prestigious Great Dane Invitational on Friday, January 23rd.
Sophomore Qasim Ellis (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale), the teams top long jumper, leaped 6.72-meters (22' 3/4").
Senior Earl Noel (Yonkers, N.Y./Saunders) ran the 55m Hurdles in 8.17 seconds and took 5th in the Trial heat.
Freshman Joe Scher (Franklin Square, N.Y./H.F. Carey) ran the 55-meter Dash in 6.53, taking 1st in the Trial heat, but did not run because of injury.
Junior Jermaine Carter (Rego Park, N.Y./Mt. St. Michael Academy) ran the 400-meter in a time of 50.55.
