The Farmingdale State Men's and Women's Indoor Track Team competed at the Seton Hall Invitational on Sunday, December 10th in South Orange, NJ. Senior Akil Williams (Jamaica, NY/August Martin) won the High Jump with a jump of 6'4" to qualify for the ECAC Championships on March 2-3 at Wesleyan University. Junior captain Reggie Routier (Freeport, NY/Freeport) placed 3rd in the Triple Jump with an outstanding jump of 13.62m (44"8 1/4"), which betters his previous ECAC qualifying jump. Freshman Jessica Sarro (West Hempstead, NY/West Hempstead) placed 2nd in the Long Jump (4.91m, 16' 1 1/4") and 4th in the Triple Jump with a personal best 10.45m (34' 3 1/2").

Three additional personal bests were established as was a team best. All three hurdlers qualified for the Final and placed 5th, 6th and 7th.

Azell Green: 5th place, High Jump, 5'10" - personal best

Chris Okolie: 6th place, 35-pound Weight Throw, 12.69m (41' 7 3/4")

David Casillas: 7th place, 35-pound Weight Throw, 12.55m (41' 2 1/4")

60m High Hurdles:

Earl Noel - Trials, 9.12 - Final, 8.71 - 5th place

Reggie Routier - Trials, 8.95 - Final, 8.89 - 6th place

Chris Herbst - Trials, 8.81 - Final, 8.95 - 7th place
