New York, NY - The men's and women's indoor track teams competed in the Collegiate Track Conference Championships on Monday, February 27th at the 168 St. Armory in New York City. The meet was originally scheduled for Sunday, February 12th, but was postponed due to the blizzard. The meet was rescheduled for Monday with 18 of the 26 teams competing.

Farmingdale State's mens team placed second in the meet with 107 points. Both the place and point totals were a new meet record for the team. The women's team placed 13th with seven points.

Medal winners and notable performances:

55m: Nyakeh Charley - 6.64 trials, 6.59 finals, 4th place - ECAC Qualifier and personal best

55m High Hurdles: Reggie Routier - 1st place - 7.98 - personal best; Earl Noel - 3rd place - 8.26

800m: Armann Leifsson - 2nd place - 1:59.59

1000m: Mike Landi - 2nd place - 2:37.19 - personal best

4x200m Relay: Nyakeh Charley, Jason Chin-Chitty, Earl Noel, Reuben Hairston - 1:32.61 - 2nd place - ECAC Qualifier

4x400m Relay: Reggie Routier, Shane Smith, Akil Williams, Armann Leifsson - 2nd place - 3:29.32

High Jump: Ian Lovergie - 1st place - 6'6" (1.98m); Akil Williams - 3rd place - 6'6" (1.98m)
