Freshman Andre Brown (Jamaica, W.I./Waterford), in his first collegiate competition, won the long jump in an NCAA provisional and ECAC qualifying jump of 22’ 11 ¾” (7.00m). Brown also placed 7th in the 55m in 6.67 (6.63 trials) to also qualify for the ECAC Championships in that event. Andre now ranks third on the All-time Farmingdale Long Jump list and is the schools first-ever National Championships qualifier since joining the NCAA in 2000. Brown's jump was also the best at Wesleyan's Bacon Field House in the last 12 years.

Freshman Reggie Routier (Amityville, NY/Freeport) placed second in the Triple Jump in an ECAC qualifying 43’ 2 ½” (13.17m). Reggie also placed fifth in the 55m Hurdles with a personal best 8.24. Reggie is ranked 10th on the All-time Farmingdale Triple Jump list.

Reuben Hairston (Freeport, NY/Freeport) followed Brown and Routier in the Long and Triple Jumps, tying for second place in the Long Jump with a jump of 21' 9" (6.63m) and taking fifth place in the Triple Jump in 42’ 9 ½” (13.04m). Reuben has previously qualified for the ECAC meet in the Long Jump and ranks 10th on the All-time Farmingdale list.
