KANSAS CITY, Mo. | United Soccer Coaches released its 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-Region Teams late Tuesday, at Farmingdale State College senior keeper Justin Silva (Bellerose, N.Y.) collected third-team accolades in Region III from the organization.

Silva is believed to be the fourth Farmingdale State men's soccer student-athlete to garner All-Region kudos from United Soccer Coaches (formerly the National Soccer Coaches Association of America) during the Rams' NCAA era.

The first-team All-Skyline Conference selection posted eight shutouts in the FSC net in 2022, which is tied for the 17th-most in Division III this season. Silva backstopped the Rams to a 9-6-2 record overall, as well as a 7-2-2 record in Skyline play that led to Farmingdale State's first bye to the semifinals round of the Skyline Conference Championship since 2010. He posted a 1.05 goals-against average, and led the Rams defense to a scoreless streak of more than 600 minutes towards the end of the campaign. Silva's 18 career shutouts rank second all-time in Farmingdale State program history.
