THROGGS NECK, N.Y. | Midfielder Luke Kasulke (Seaford, N.Y.) netted his first career hat trick Friday evening at Reinhart Field to send the Farmingdale State College to its fifth-consecutive victory with a convincing 5-0 decision at Skyline Conference foe Maritime College.

The visiting Rams (7-4-2, 5-2-2 Skyline) got all the offense they would need on the evening from Kasulke in the 27th minute of action, after he weaved through a host of defenders from the Privateers (1-12-3, 0-8-2) and slotted home with his left foot to put his side in front.

Twelve minutes later, sophomore mid Sam Anjo (Mineola, N.Y.) blasted home his first goal of the campaign off a defender to double the FSC lead and send hi side into the interval with a two-goal advantage.

Farmingdale State played most of the second half against a 10-man Maritime side, and took advantage with three more tallies to account for their season-best total of five on the night. Senior winger Michael Lanouette (Hamden, Conn.) bagged his fifth goal of the season in the 60th minute off a feed from freshman attacker Tyree Baskin Jr. (Freeport, N.Y.) to push the Rams' lead to three, before Kasulke finished into the lower-right corner 10 minutes later. Kasulke finishes his hat trick in the 75th minute of action, when he converted a pass from senior striker Brandon Balcaceres (Farmingdale, N.Y.) into the opposite corner.

FSC held a 30-11 edge in shots on the evening, including by a 17-7 margin in the second frame, as well as a 19-1 advantage in shots on target. Rams keeper Justin Silva (Bellerose, N.Y.) made one save behind his team's backline, as Farmingdale State registered its seventh clean sheet -- including its third-consecutive shutout and fourth in the last five outings.

Head coach Chuck Schimpf's Rams will next wrap up regular-season Skyline play with a pair of home contests in a three-day span, playing host to Yeshiva University in a noon kickoff on Sunday (Oct. 23) before welcoming Sarah Lawrence Tuesday for a 4 p.m. start.
