FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | Behind first-half goals from sophomore Anthony Bileddo (Carle Place, N.Y.) and junior Justin Cabezas (Brentwood, N.Y.), the Farmingdale State College men's soccer team ran its winning streak to four matches, as the Rams defeated visiting Purchase College in Skyline Conference competition on Saturday afternoon by a 2-0 margin.

FSC (6-5-2, 4-2-2 Skyline) opened the scoring in the 10th minute, when Bileddo's second goal in the last three matches found the lower-right corner from 14 yards out to put his side in front.

Cabezas collected his first Farmingdale State marker at the 37-minute mark, when he received a square ball from senior Brandon Balcaceres (Farmingdale, N.Y.) and sent a 30-yard blast into the  top-right corner to double the hosts' edge.

Senior keeper Justin Silva (Bellerose, N.Y.) made a diving stop in the lower-left corner in the 80th minute of action to preserve FSC's clean sheet against the Panthers (7-7, 3-5).

Head coach Chuck Schimpf's Rams continue Skyline play Friday night (Oct. 21), when they travel to Throggs Neck, N.Y., for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Maritime College.
