New York, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's soccer team picked up their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory at Baruch on Wednesday evening. The Rams now stand at 1-1 on the year, while the Bearcats fell to 0-1.

FSC freshman defender Daniel Rivas (Westbury, N.Y.) opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 38th minute of action. Less than two minutes later, senior midfielder Carlos Rivera (Huntington, N.Y.) connected on his shot from outside to box to put the Rams on top, 3-1.
