New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Fall weekly report #10 on Monday, November 4th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for women's volleyball.

Women's Volleyball Update (15-13, 7-4 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

FSC closed out the regular season with a pair of 3-1 wins over both Old Westbury and Sarah Lawrence last week.

Sophomore Madisyn Pozo (Bayside, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Libero of the Week. She claimed her second-consecutive weekly honor and third overall in 2019. Pozo averaged 6.0 digs per set over FSC's pair of four-set triumphs to clinch a spot in this week's conference championship. She collected 23 digs and two service aces Tuesday against Old Westbury and added 25 digs and an ace two nights later in a must-win scenario against Sarah Lawrence.

Sophomore outside Kate Flamio (East Islip, N.Y.) recorded a .229 hitting percentage, 4.25 kills and 3.75 digs per set last week.

This week the fifth-seeded Rams will travel to #4 St. Joseph's-LI on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. for the first round of the Skyline Conference Women's Volleyball Championship. The winner will head to top-seeded Manhattanville for the semifinals on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

 

Women's Soccer Update (12-5-3, 9-0-1 Skyline)

#2 Farmingdale State will play host to #3 Sarah Lawrence in the Skyline Conference semifinals on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. The finals will be held on Saturday at the site of the highest remaining seed.      

 

Men's Soccer Update (10-10, 6-5 Skyline)

The fourth-seeded Rams will face #1 Mount Saint Mary in a road game on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The winner will square off against either #6 Maritime or #3 Merchant Marine in the finals on Saturday at the site of the highest remaining seed.      

 

Cross Country Update

At the Skyline Conference Championship, the women earned a runner-up finish, while the men took seventh place. This week Farmingdale State will compete in the ECAC Championship at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome in Milton, N.Y. on Saturday.
