New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Fall weekly report #1 on Tuesday, September 3, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, men's golf, women's tennis and women's volleyball.

#21 Farmingdale State opened the season with a 1-0 win over Buffalo State and a 0-0 tie against RPI.
Senior goalkeeper Daniella Ford (Elmont, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Defensive Player of the Week. She backstopped the 21st-ranked Rams to a pair of clean sheets in a 1-0-1 weekend at the Engineers Cup. Ford stopped two shots in season-opening triumph over Buffalo State, before making five saves against host RPI.
This week the women's soccer team will travel to Trinity (CT) on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. and #6 Misericordia on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

The Rams opened 2019 with a pair of victories over Bryn Athyn (3-0) and New Jersey City University (3-1).
Senior outside Kate Flamio (East Islip, N.Y.) earned Skyline Conference Player of the Week honors. Flamio hit .351 with averages of 4.14 kills and 3.29 digs per set in the 2-0 week. She posted double-doubles in both contests, including a 17-kill, 12-dig effort against the host Gothic Knights.
FSC will travel to Baruch on Thursday (6:00 p.m.) before hosting Brooklyn (10:00 a.m.) and Ramapo (2:00 p.m.) in a tri-match on Saturday.
Men's Soccer Update (0-2, 0-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report
FSC fell to both Oneonta (4-0) and Hartwick (2-1) in a pair of road contests to start the 2019 season. The Rams will head to FDU-Florham for a non-conference matchup on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in their only game of the week.
Women's Tennis Update (1-0, 0-0 Skyline)
The women's tennis team earned a 6-3 victory over Plattsburgh State in their first match of the year. This week Farmingdale State will host Oneonta on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
Men's Golf Update
The men's golf team will open the season at the York (Pa.) Spartan Invitational held at Royal Manchester Golf Links in Mount Wolf, Penn. on Saturday and Sunday.
