Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 2-2 tie at Maritime on Wednesday night and have earned the #5 seed for the Skyline Conference Men's Soccer Championship. The Rams stand at 9-7-1 overall and were 5-4-1 in Skyline Conference play.
#5 Farmingdale State will travel to #4 Old Westbury for the First Round of the playoffs on Sunday, October 28th at 1:00 p.m. The other First Round game will feature #6 St. Joseph's-LI at #3 Merchant Marine on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
The winner of FSC/OW will head to top-seeded Mount Saint Mary for the Semifinals on Wednesday, October 31st at 7:00 p.m., while the SJC-LI/USMMA winner goes to #2 Maritime on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The Semifinal winners will meet in the Skyline Conference Finals on Saturday, November 3rd at the site of the highest remaining seed.
