Second Half Goals Lead Old Westbury Past Rams

Old Westbury, N.Y. - After the game went into halftime tied 1-1, Old Westbury used two second half goals to earn the 3-1 Skyline Conference victory on Tuesday afternoon. The Farmingdale State men's soccer team dropped to an even 7-7 overall and 6-3 in the conference after the loss.

The Panthers (9-4-4, 6-2-1) opened the scoring in the 35th minute on an unassisted goal from freshman forward Chris Agbodoh (Far Rockaway, N.Y.).

FSC's Kyle Gully (North Babylon, N.Y.) even the score at 1-1 with only 10 seconds remaining in the first half as he netted the rebound off a shot by Tobi Ojuade (Rockville Centre, N.Y.).

Old Westbury regained the lead, 2-1, 9:05 after the break on a goal from freshman midfielder Fabrizio Chamorro (Huntington Station, N.Y.). In the 75th minute of action, Agbodoh tallied his second score and the final of the game to cap off the 3-1 victory for the Panthers.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lucas Mallia (Greenlawn, N.Y.) recorded seven saves for the Rams, while sophomore Mike Warren (East Meadow, N.Y.) stopped five shots for OW.

Farmingdale State next will host Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday, October 22nd at 11:30 a.m.
