Farmingdale, N.Y. - In a non-conference men's soccer game this afternoon, Farmingdale State fell, 3-0, to Brooklyn College. The Bulldogs improved to 1-2 on the year, while the Rams dropped to 1-2 with the loss.

Brooklyn College opened the scoring with 6:49 remaining in the first half as senior midfielder Andres Pertuz (Bogota, Columbia) connected off the cross in front of the net by senior forward Marco Thimm-Kaiser (Hamburg, Germany). FSC outshot the Bulldogs 8-6 in the first half but went into the break trailing, 1-0.

Only 4:04 into the second half, Brooklyn increased their advantage to 2-0 on a unassisted breakaway goal from junior forward Valentyn Kharko (Alicante, Spain). Junior defender Jean-Luc Saint-Fleur (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) added the final score of the game with 2:11 left, leading the Bulldogs to the 3-0 win.

Farmingdale State next will travel to Rutgers-Camden for a non-conference game on Saturday, September 10th at 4:30 p.m.
