New York, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's soccer team had three players named All-Conference this season in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches. Junior midfielder J.T. Famularo (Levittown, N.Y.) and senior defender Vincent Danetti (Wantagh, N.Y.) were each named First Team, while junior midfielder Victor Romero (Bay Shore, N.Y.) earned Second Team honors.
Famularo, a junior, started every game this season for the Rams. He led FSC in goals (9) and points (23) and was 2nd in assists (5) and game-winning goals (1). In the conference, he ranked 7th in assists and 8th for both points and goals.
Danetti, a senior team captain, started every game on defense for the Rams. Danetti has anchored Farmingdale State's defense throughout his career as he started every game each of the last three seasons.
Romero started every game during his junior year at Farmingdale State. He led the team in assists (6) and game-winning goals (2), ranked 2nd in points (18) and 3rd in goals scored (6). In the Skyline, Romero was 11th for total points.
Matt Garcia of Mount Saint Mary was tabbed Skyline Player of the Year, while Mount Saint Vincent's Dennis Reyes earned Rookie of the Year honors. Kyle LeClerc of Sage was the 2014 Defensive Player of the Year.
