St. Joseph's - 2, Farmingdale State - 0


Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's soccer team fell, 2-0, at home to St. Joseph's in a Skyline Conference game this afternoon. The Rams are now 6-10-1 overall and 3-4-1 in conference action, while St. Joe's improved to 7-12, 4-4.

The Golden Eagles took a 1-0 lead only 2:36 into the contest as senior midfielder Chris Hall (Mastic, N.Y.) scored off a cross in front by junior midfielder Gaetano Innamorato (West Babylon, N.Y.).

In a defensive first half, St. Joseph's held a 5-1 shot advantage as they took their 1-0 lead into halftime.

With 26:40 remaining in the second half, the Golden Eagles extended the lead to 2-0 on a goal by senior midfielder Dylan Ierardi (Kings Park, N.Y.).

The Rams managed three shots over the final minutes but were unable to score as St. Joe's earned the 2-0 conference win.

Farmingdale State next will host Stockton in a non-conference game on senior day on Saturday, October 25th at 3:00 p.m.
