New York, N.Y. - Farmingdale State College had three men's soccer players named to the 2013 All-Conference Team in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches. Senior goalkeeper Angelo Viteritti (Huntington, N.Y.) was named First Team All-Skyline and Defensive Player of the Year, while sophomore midfielder Victor Romero (Bay Shore, N.Y.) also earned First Team honors. Senior defender Joe Lipsky (Plainview, N.Y.) was named Second Team All-Skyline Conference for the Rams.
Viteritti, a senior captain, is nationally ranked 63rd for saves, while he also ranks second in the Skyline for saves, second for shutouts, third for save percentage, third for saves per game, fourth for goals against average. He holds a .829 save percentage and a 1.18 goals against average in 17 starts. Currently holds the school record for Career Save Percentage (.829), Most Ties (5) and the second most shutouts (15) in just two seasons played at FSC.
Romero, who started every game for Farmingdale State, scored a team-leading five goals and added two assists for 12 points (2nd on team).
Lipsky appeared in 17 games and anchored a defense that held a 1.17 goals against average, which is third best in the Skyline. Lipsky also added one goal from his defensive position.
