Second Half Scores Lead Rowan Past Rams

Glassboro, N.J. - After a scoreless first half, the Farmingdale State men's soccer team allowed two goals in the second by forward Dylan Smith and fell 2-0 to Rowan University (2-1) tonight in Glassboro, N.J.

The Rams (1-2) allowed the eventual game-winner in the first minute of the second half. With 21 seconds remaining in the game, Smith scored the final goal as Rowan took the shutout in their Friday night game of the Kelly Sport's Ltd./Rowan Invitational Tournament.

Senior goalkeeper Angelo Viteritti (Huntington, N.Y.) made six saves in defeat, while Rowan goalkeeper Ryan Gill made just one save for the win.

The Rams will now face TCNJ for day two of the tournament, tomorrow night at 6:00 p.m.
