Anderson Named ECAC Offensive Player of the Week
Centerville, Mass. - Sophomore midfielder Brian
Anderson (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) was named the ECAC
Division III Upstate/Metro Offensive Player of the Week for men's
soccer on Tuesday, October 5th.
Anderson totaled six points on the week, while helping the Rams go 3-0 overall, 2-0 in Skyline Conference play. The sophomore midfielder capped the game-winner versus Brooklyn, then went on to contribute in both of Farmingdale State's two conference wins.
Anderson scored one and assisted on another goal in a 3-0 defeat of Purchase, then later in the week helped set up one of the Rams' two goals in a 2-0 victory over Mount Saint Mary on the road. The two conference wins kept Farmingdale as the frontrunner in the Skyline with a perfect 4-0 conference record.
